Application Guide
Application Guide
Step One
- Ensure that the wound is thoroughly clean and dry and wound edges appose readily.
Step Two
- While holding upright, squeeze middle of the LiquiBand® Octyl 0.4 device until a cracking sound is heard.
Step Three
- Invert the tip and gently squeeze up to three times to prime the device. When the tip turns purple, LiquiBand® Octyl 0.4 is ready to use.
Step Four
- While holding the wound edges together, apply a single, even coat of LiquiBand® Octyl 0.4 over the length of the wound, using the tip of the device to distribute and prevent pooling of the adhesive. Continue to hold the wound edges together for approximately 60 seconds.
